Description
Item was owned and used by Lt. Col John C. Cavin of Melno, Georgia. Cavin went over to the ETO in October 1944 with the 48th Tank Battalion of the 14th Armored Division. He commanded the unit and was awarded two Silver Stars and two Bronze Stars. Holster is in great condition for its age. Holster showns minimal signs of wear and tear with a few scratches, but leather shows no signs of flaking or cracking. The hardware of the holster is still in great working condition.
