Here is a
World War I Imperial German Army Photo Post Card.
You have a Field Photo Post Card of a small German Army Unit or squad from the
8th Reserve Regiment
posing during some rest and respite at the front.  The soldiers are mostly wearing soft caps, 1 has a visor cap and the two soldiers in the back row on the ends wear pickelhaubes despite the Post Card is dated
1916
.  The Card has the Regimental Stamp and Field Post Stamp.  The
soldier wearing
the
pickelhaube
on the left back row
holds the Iron Cross 2nd Class
, the only enlisted soldier in the photo so decorated.  The detail is fairly decent, the uniforms and pickelhaubes are striking.  It is in fair condition and is 106 years old.
